The Boulder High Robosharks are gearing up for another epic season of Underwater Action in the MATE Underwater Robotics Competition!  

We need help coming up with the money to cover travel and lodging expenses for the competitions themselves. Can you please help chip in to support these young Engineers tackle their dreams?

We have FOUR teams competing this year, as the club keeps growing and growing! 

The MATE Competition is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn and demonstrate their STEM skills through real-world ocean and waterway robotic applications. The teams compete to solve as many tasks as possible of a set of underwater challenges in a limited amount of time.

The challenges mimic real-world science and industry ROV scenarios: collecting samples of coral and marine life, repairing underwater pipelines and offshore wind farms, mapping underwater features, measuring growth of underwater flora and fauna, and many other tasks inspired by the fascinating world of Underwater ROVs. Mainly, the competition is focused on how to leverage technology to help us better care for our environment and protect human life. 

We have already raised the funds needed to purchase supplies for the teams to build and test their ROV prototypes. Now, we need help coming up with the rest of the money to cover travel and lodging expenses for the competitions themselves.
