~ Please Help Us to Make Our Goal~

Fundraising efforts for our 2024 XC season will go towards items like travel expenses, meals, lodging and post workout snacks.  We are looking to raise $12,000 that would cover expenses throughout the entire season, including a trip to Mesa, AZ for the Desert Twilight Invitational, State Championship in Colorado Springs, end of season banquet and celebrating all athletes after practices.

We have a long season ahead of us, but with that time I want to fill it with all the great experiences and memorable moments that make cross country special! 

  Experiences

With the extended season, we have been invited to take part in the FASTEST regular season cross country meet in the southwest, the Desert Twilight Invitational in Mesa, Arizona. At the moment, we need to raise $6000 for that event alone to cover hotel, airfare, van rentals and meals for those athletes and coaches traveling.

  Memories

Our season culminates with the State Championship in Colorado Springs the first week of November. I want our athletes to be set up for success and part of that preparation involves spending the night at a hotel before the race to cut down on the risk and fatigue associated with a 2 hour road trip the morning of a competition. If we are able to raise $3000 for this extra-special weekend, I will be able to not only book lodging accommodations for the athletes competing at the meet, but also reserve a small block of rooms for those that want to come down and cheer on their teammates!

  Special Season

Another $2000 of our fundraising goal goes to making our catered team meals at the beginning and end of the season even better, especially our end of season banquet. I want to be able to feed every family member and celebrate the achievements of the season with fun trophies and senior gifts.

Celebrations

The last $1000 is meant to cover the cost of post-practice snacks like bagels, chocolate milk, and popsicles. But also to add to enriching extras like temporary tattoos for athletes to sport in competitions, party poppers for celebrating people’s birthdays. Any extra funds will be used to boost team pasta dinners organized by the kids or a fun mid-season gear drop courtesy of the team.
