Casey Middle School Math Program is trying to raise money for a Promethean Board. Improved Excellence through Technology.

For the first time in many years, Casey Middle School is offering a bilingual math program. This is a very exciting opportunity to help our students who have been pursuing bilingual education. 

Bilingual Math

Having taught at the high school level and have learned how critical strong middle math skills are. I have been using Promethean Boards in the past at other schools and have found them to be a very beneficial technology tool. 

One benefit of this board is simultaneously projecting both the Spanish and English workbooks. This board improves engagement, collaboration, and interactivity and allows for deeper instruction on content.

Beneficial Technology

Other key features of this board are the ability to write directly on a presentation, highlighting key areas for learning, and being able to save student work and lessons for reference. 

Improve Math Skills

The feature to save lessons and notes digitally will allow students to be able to refer back to what was taught when needed. Casey MS will also be offering after school tutoring and this board could be another useful tool in helping students improve their math skills.
